Nine teams signed up to compete in the 2013 Bogus Creek 150 Sled Dog Race at the musher’s meeting Thursday night. The field includes last year’s champion, Jen Peeks of Bethel and three other past champions. The race begins this evening at 5 p.m. on the river in front of Bethel.

The race route follows the same one as the K300. It starts in Bethel and goes to Akiachak via the Gweek River, then to Tuluksak and on to the Bogus Creek checkpoint where teams are required to rest for 4 hours before heading back to the finish line in Bethel.

Here’s the Bogus 150 musher line up, including their bib number, which is also the order they will be leaving the race chute.
