For nearly 30 years KYUK has been dedicated to documenting on videotape the unique history, culture and lifestyle of the Yup’ik people of the Yukon/Kuskokwim Delta region of Western Alaska.

KYUK’s productions have been screened internationally in Japan, Denmark, Greenland, Australia, New Zealand, England and France as well as throughout the United States.

A number of programs have garnered awards from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the Pacific Mountain Network, the Native American Journalists Association, The Alaska Press Club, the International Film and Video Festival of New York, The Museum of the American Indian and the Red Earth Native American Film and Video Festival.

KYUK is part of the AlaskaOne Public Television Network, which includes KTOO in Juneau and KUAC in Fairbanks.
