Alaska State Troopers in Emmonak are investigating a burglary in nearby Alakanuk. Tribal Police say someone burglarized the Anica Store in the village over the weekend, stealing over $2,000 worth of merchandise.
Troopers say one or more persons broke into the building sometime between Sunday and Monday. There was about $100 in damages to the building itself.
Troopers are asking anyone with information about the burglary to contact them in Emmonak or Saint Mary’s.
