AVCP & TCC ask for State’s help in food security issues

The region’s non-profit native organization, the Association of Village Council Presidents, has formally asked the State of Alaska to advocate for subsistence fishing rights through the courts. A-V-C-P and the Tanana Chief Conference have both ratified resolutions that ask the State of Alaska for help in the struggle for food security.
