A woman originally from Bethel was killed Wednesday morning in an auto accident at an Anchorage intersection. 27-year-old Catherine Cope died at the Alaska Native Medical Center from injuries sustained in the crash.

Police say a 16-year-old male was driving westbound on Northern Lights early Wednesday morning when his Chevy Tahoe broadsided the white Jeep carrying Cope and several other people as it headed north.

All four in the Jeep were injured and taken to the hospital.

Police are trying to determine which vehicle had the right of way.
