The Bethel Regional High School Lady Warriors basketball team went 2-1 this past weekend at the Grace Christian Classic in Anchorage.
The Lady Warriors beat Service high in the first round of the tournament, but fell in overtime to Homer in the second round on Friday.

In the third quarter, Homer came storming back to go up by five points on BRHS.
In the fourth, though, the Lady Warriors started to sink shots, tying Homer 30-30 with two minutes left. Both teams traded leads in the last minutes, before tying it up as the buzzer sounded 35-35.
Homer just edged the Lady Warriors in the extra period, 40-38.
Rebecca Brink led the way for BRHS with 13 points.
On Saturday, the Lady Warriors bounced back in a match against the host team: the Grace Christian Grizzlies.
Grace would jump out to an early lead, up 10-6 in the first, but the Lady Warriors got back into it, going into halftime down just a point, 12-11.
The game was a tight one throughout, with the contest tied up 19 all going into the fourth quarter.
BRHS took a three-point lead with just over five minutes left in the game, but the Grizzlies would hang around.
With less than two minutes left in the contest BRHS’ Kayla Williams landed a two pointer to go ahead 25-23 and seal the win for the Lady Warriors.
BRHS’ Rianna Joseph led all scorers with 10 points. Rebecca Brink had six points, Marina Crow had four, and Emma Reichard and Kayla Williams had two points each.
