(AP) — Calista Corp. says it has acquired a new subsidiary that has operated throughout Alaska. Officials say its new subsidiary is STG Inc., which has installed about 80 percent of the wind projects operating in Alaska. Calista says STG projects include providing crane support for the Fire Island Wind project near Anchorage.

Officials say the Anchorage-based STG also has experience in bulk fuel systems, diesel power generation projects and other jobs.

A price tag for the acquisition conducted last week was not disclosed.

Calista is the Alaska Native corporation for the Y-K Delta region. It has more than 12,000 shareholders.
