Calista Corporation held its annual shareholders meeting Nov. 3 in Goodnews Bay, a meeting that was rescheduled from June amid controversy with the corporation’s board of directors. Board elections were held Saturday and unofficial results show there were two directors re-elected and two new board members named. Robert L. Beans unseated long-time incumbent and Acting CEO Felix Hess for Unit 3. Harley Sundown was unseated for the at-large seat by Marcie Sherer. Mike Akerelrea was re-elected to Unit 1 and JoAnn Werning was re-elected to Unit 2. Stay tuned to KYUK Monday for more details on the board meeting.
