It’s ten days before the first musher leaves the chute and Zach Fansler, race manager for the Kuskokwim 300, Bogus Creek 150 and Akiak Dash, took time out of his busy schedule for an hour long chat with KYUK’s Rybo Shore about this year’s event.

The day after Christmas has proven to be a slow day for call-in shows on KYUK, and today was no different as calls and emails were sparse to start the show. As the program moved forward calls and emails started to come in at a more normal clip.

Highlights for this edition of Talk Line include: The Kuskokwim 300 Race Manager, Zach Fansler, fields questions from the hosts; travel tips and cautions were received from S.A.R. members; and a heavy focus was put on politics and policies.
