Council revisits Bering Sea chum bycatch

The North Pacific Fishery Management Council held a public hearing Friday on its plans to try to control bycatch of chum salmon by the pollock trawl fleet in the Bering Sea. After some apparent improvement, chum bycatch shot up again last year.
