Emotions run high at Chinook conference

The first day of the Chinook Salmon Symposium in Anchorage was mostly about addressing issues. A panel of scientists, fish managers and academics spoke about the declining King numbers throughout the state and in the Yukon Kuskokwim Delta. The mood in the room turned from speculative to emotional when the floor opened for questions.
