Engineers say technology needed to protect village water from climate change

There are still 4000 homes in rural Alaska that don’t have access to piped water or sewer. Many more are using aging systems that need upgrading. And an unlikely culprit- climate change- is forcing government officials and engineers to  look at using new technologies
to correct the problem.
