Gas still leaking as Aniak residents return to homes and offices

Crowley Petroleum says the neighborhood surrounding a gasoline leak at their tank farm is safer after clean up crews used specialized foam to dampen the spills noxious fumes, and pumps to collect three thousand gallons of leaked gas mixed with water. Three household nearest the farm tank are still displaced, and crews will need to remove more of the gasoline before they can access the leak. I spoke with Crowley’s Public Information Officer, Jim Butler, to get the latest on the clean-up effort.
