Hooper Bay and Aniak still contending for State title

The boys from Hooper Bay got a big win in the opening round of the Alaska 2A High School State Basketball Tournament defeating Su Vally 56 – 37 to advance the semi-finals. Meanwhile the Aniak Lady Halfbreeds advanced in the 1A Tournament by defeating Koligenak 37-34 in a forth quarter back-and-forth battle.
