Hooper Bay man arrested for DUI after flipping sno go

A Hooper Bay man was arrested for a DUI after allegedly flipping his snow machine. According the Alaska State Troopers who investigated the incident, 34-year-old Edgar I.K. Smith flipped the machine, throwing him and another man off. The incident happened on January 25.

The local Village Public Safety Officer and Village police arrested Smith who they say refused to submit to a breathalyzer sample. He was remanded to the Hooper Bay Public Safety Department.
