House to consider $23 million for Bethel pool

by Angela Denning-Barnes on April 13, 2012

The draft version of the capitol budget that the House Finance Committee is expected to consider this weekend raises funding for the Bethel swimming pool project.

The Senate’s budget funds the Bethel Aqautic Training and Health Center at about $15 million. The initial draft version for the House raises it by $8 million to $23,075,000.

As a draft, the bill will first be considered by the House Finance Committee and then the House. The House is expected to pass their version this weekend.

The Governor will have the final say on line item vetoes.
