The Bethel Lady Warriors were matched up against the Seward Lady Seahawks in a consolation-elimination game on Friday morning.
The Lady Seahawks jumped out to a first quarter lead- 6 to 5. The Lady Warriors would then go on an 11-point run in the latter part of the quarter, and would hold the lead at the end of the first half 18 to 13.
The third quarter was an exciting and tight quarter between the two squads, and Bethel would hold a two-point lead at the end of the quarter thanks two a buzzer-beating shot from Faith Brink to take a 27-25 lead.
The fourth quarter would be Bethel’s worst scoring quarter of the game as they were only able to add 6 points to their total, while the Lady Seahawks were able to tally a dozen points in the quarter, and would finish off the Lady Warriors hopes of 4th place contention by a final score of 37 to 33.
