Lower breakup front moves above Tuluksak

The lower breakup front on the Kuskokwim moved to the bluffs below Kalskag. Aniak and Kalskag saw some minor flooding Monday and predictions are that the Lower Kuskokwim will see breakup action soon. Helping to monitor the activity is Bethel Search and Rescue volunteer, Alan Joseph, who saw the front at the bluffs Monday night:

National Weather Service hydrologist, Celine Van Breukelen, was also in the air Monday night monitoring the middle Kuskokwim breakup:
