Moose permits are available starting today

by Angela Denning-Barnes on August 1, 2012

Starting August 1, permits are available for hunters wanting to take moose in the Kuskokwim fall moose hunt. The permits are required in order to participate in the RM615 hunt.

The Alaska Department of Fish and Game is reminding hunters that if they want to hunt moose on the Kuskokwim drainage in Unit 18 this fall, they need to pick up a RM615 Registration permit before August 25 deadline.

Permits are available in most villages at the license vendors. Permits are also available at the Bethel Fish and Game Office, US Fish and Wildlife Service, and Swanson’s Hardware in Bethel.
