Multiple charges stem from Bethel Murder

Brenda Evans faces a slew of felony charges.

A Bethel Grand Jury has indicted 43-year-old Brenda Evans, of Bethel, on six felony counts including: murder in the first degree, murder in the second degree, burglary in the first degree, two counts of arson in the first degree, and tampering with physical evidence.

63-year-old Charles Beaver was found stabbed to death in a Bethel residence on February 22nd. That same day police arrested Evans, charging her with the murder.

Evans was arraigned at the Bethel Courthouse on March 1st. She entered a plea of not guilty for all charges.
