Napaskiak man accused of sexual abuse

A young Napaskiak man has been arrested and charged for allegedly sexually assaulting several minors.

On November 10th Alaska State Troopers arrested 19-year-old Thomas Link of Napaskiak for allegedly sexually assaulting multiple minors.

Court documents obtained by KYUK, show that troopers first investigated the case in August when they travelled to Napaskiak and interviewed five minors ranging in age from 9-14.

Records show that all but one of those interviewed allege some sort of sexual assault.

Troopers said the alleged assaults were spread out over multiple years.

Records show that Link was at least 16 years of age during all alleged incidents and over 18 during the most recent allegation from this June.

In court documents Link admitted to inappropriately touching seven minors.

He was arrested and remanded to the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center in Bethel.

He is charged with four counts of sexual assault of a minor in the second degree and one count of sexual assault of a minor in the first degree.

At an arraignment hearing on November 11th, Link’s bail was set at $250,000.

A preliminary hearing will be held on November 21st at 4pm in Bethel.
