A small, single story storage building caught on fire at 6th Avenue and Main Street in Bethel on Saturday.

Bethel Fire Chief, George Young,  said there were no injuries in the blaze and described the single room outbuilding as abandoned.

He said there was evidence of “mischief” at the scene and believes people were trespassing inside the building and being careless with fire.

The Bethel Police Department and Fire Department are collaborating.  The investigation is ongoing.
