Governor orders flags lowered after death of Kwethluk’s Phillip Guy

A former state legislator and a pioneer in village corporate and government affairs succumbed to his illness last night. Alaska State Troopers report that at around 11 pm on Monday 60-year old Phillip Guy of Kwethluk died due to a terminal illness with family and medical workers present.
