The Bethel City Council has approved a new list of priority construction project requests for submission to the state capital budget for Fiscal Year 2019.

Some of the projects would likely involve federal as well as state funding. The Council reviewed the items Tuesday night and decided to add one more: Part Two of the Institutional Corridor Project that would expand the city's piped water system.

Topping the capital project wish list is a new road around H-marker Lake; the Institutional Corridor Project is the second priority. The City of Bethel is also requesting funds for new water and sewer trucks, as well as funds to improve the Small Boat Harbor and finish the Bethel Heights A and B water loops.
