Samuel Hare was found deceased in Bethel Tuesday night, about 24 hours after his mother reported him missing.
Hare was last seen alive last Saturday afternoon near the AC Quickstop liquor store. His family tried contacting him, but Hare wasn’t answering his phone, which his mother said was unlike him. Around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday night, the Bethel Police responded to a call from a community member in City Subdivision. They found Hare’s body underneath a residence there.
Hare’s remains are being sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Anchorage for an autopsy to determine his cause of death.
