The City of Bethel says that no action is required from the city at this time in response to the indictment of multiple Bethel taxi drivers on bootlegging charges.

A press release from City Manager Pete Williams says that there have been no convictions at this time, and that the city will follow the constitutional principle of "innocent until proven guilty" when it comes to cab driver permits.
