CVRF 2017 Summer Youth Programs

For the past decade, the Coastal Villages Region Fund has offered youth internship programs over the summer. This year, 13 interns have been selected to work full-time with various CVRF Community Service Centers.

CVRF also offers a Youth-to-Work program for students ages 14 to 19, where they train with working professionals to develop life and job skills that will help them find employment in the future. CVRF’s Youth Program Coordinator, Gwen Andrew, started as an intern herself and said, “since that time, I’ve seen the program evolve into an even more meaningful experience for participants. Andrew called it, "one of the opportunities that CVRF provides to young people who wish to work and gain experience that translates to future jobs.”

CVRF’s 2017 programs began in May and will run through the summer, ending this August.
