Money Rolls In For Bethel Family Clinic

Jehona Kadriu

More money is arriving to pay for the construction of the new Bethel Family Clinic building. This week, $400,000 was awarded by the Rasmuson Foundation for the project, joining another $300,000 from the M. J. Murdock Trust that was announced a few weeks ago.

LaTesia Guinn, the Executive Director of the Bethel Family Clinic, says that the new facility is well on its way to being completed early in 2018. The total cost of the construction, designed to allow the organization to provide more services and serve more patients, is $3.6 million. She says that most of the cost is already in hand, and that the facility is expected to open in spring 2018.
