Professional football players from the NFL are coming to Bethel, and they plan to play games with Bethel-area youth.
Seattle Seahawks offensive linemen Joey Hunt and Jordan Roos are touring Bethel on Wednesday afternoon to promote health and wellness activities and to learn about Yup’ik culture. They’ll be joined by Seahawks community outreach managers.
The football pros will visit elders at the Lulu Herron Elders Home and patients at the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation. They’ll also tour local fish camps and play games with the youth at 4-H.
