The Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta’s newest legislator isn’t wasting any time.
Tiffany Zulkosky, age 33, will be sworn in as House District 38’s new state representative during the House floor session next week on Friday, March 9.
Governor Walker appointed Zulkosky to the House last week as a replacement for Zach Fansler, who resigned in February following assault allegations. Her new colleagues in the House Majority Coalition confirmed her nomination by unanimous vote.
Correction: A previous version of this article stated that Tiffany Zulkosky is 34. She is 33.
