Russian Mission man arrested for gun threat

A Russian Mission man was arrested for allegedly threatening to kill another person with a handgun.

On September 2, Alaska State Troopers began their investigation of the incident. They say that 37-year-old Justin Edwards had threatened to shoot another person who was in the house with him while he was holding a handgun.

Edwards was arrested for Assault in the third degree and transported to the Aniak temporary holding facility where he awaited transportation into Bethel to the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center.
