Second pedestrian hit in Bethel this weekend

On Friday evening, shortly after 5 p.m. Bo Foley, who is the son of Bethel City Manager Lee Foley, was walking along the side of the road near Watson’s Corner. According to witnesses, a truck driven by Daisy Mae Barerra of Bethel, hit him.

The side mirror of the truck made contact with Foley, knocking him down. He received minor injuries.

Barerra drove on. She has been charged with negligent driving and failure to give aid under the duty of operator statute which are hit and run charges.
