State budget funds many YK Delta projects

A list of the funded AVCP capital projects.

Governor Sean Parnell put pen to paper yesterday when he signed Alaska’s capital budget. That pie totals around $3 billion dollars this year, but how big of a slice belongs to the YK Delta?

Governor Parnell vetoed just $66 million of the proposed capital and operating budgets. The signed operating budget totals $9 billion, making Alaska’s total budget for fiscal year 2013 $12 billion. The funds will become available starting July 1st.
