Quinhagak searchers have rescued a missing person from their village with little time to spare.

According to the Alaska State Troopers online dispatch, Bethel based troopers received a call Wednesday around noon saying 21-year-old Michael Matthew of Quinhagak had walked away from his residence. He was not carrying warm weather gear.

Alaska State Troopers have received a report of an unexpected death in Tununak. According to the online trooper dispatch, the death happened last week on Wed., Jan. 29.

Alaska State Troopers in the village of Aniak are reporting a death in Aniak, but they say they have not made a positive identification or determined a cause of death.

After further investigation Alaska State Troopers discovered that 23-year-old Pilot Station resident Nicole Polty also assisted in the Pilot Station jailbreak earlier this month. A warrant has been issued for her arrest.

 A Grant Aviation Pilot, Franklin Joe, has suffered minor injuries after a C208 plane he were operating landed in the snow, earlier this morning.

According to an online dispatch, the Alaska State Troopers said they’ve received a report of a death in the village of Tuluksak. The death is suspected as a result of suicide.

Troopers identified the remains as 21-year-old Glen Peter of Tuluksak. Authorities say no foul play is suspected. The body was sent to the state medical examiner and next of kin has been notified.

Officials are still trying to find assailants after the Pilot Station school was reportedly burglarized Saturday morning, causing an estimated $10,000 in damages.

A 19-year-old Nunapichuk man has been charged with seven counts of kidnapping, burglary, rape and attempted sexual assault. His was arraigned Thursday afternoon at the Bethel courthouse.
