Bethel Fire Department officials say they’re investigating an early morning fire at a church in Bethel.

Acting Fire Chief Bill Howell says firefighters were called to the Pentecostal Church on Main Street and Fourth Avenue at approximately 6:17 am.

12.12.13 ONCBethel’s tribe, ONC, wants people to come forth regarding allegations of city police mistreating Native people. In addition, the Association of Village Council Presidents released a letter that they sent to Bethel Mayor, Joe Klejka about the matter.
