The Kuskokwim Ice Classic tripod went up on the river just below Bethel, Wednesday, March 25. Bethel Community Services Foundation sells tickets where people can guess the time the tripod will fall. The closest guess to the exact time of breakup wins a cash jackpot. This year the prize money is larger than usual.
