The discussion includes what you need to know this summer and what the closures mean for the health of the river and its people. The first hour is dedicated to getting an understanding of the roles of federal, state, and tribal management plans. Comments and questions were taken via email and phone for the second part of the show.

A St. Marys man died Saturday in an ATV accident. Trooper spokesperson Megan Peters says 27-year-old Joe Bryan Joe was deceased at the scene. At about 5 a.m. Saturday morning, a village police office got word that an ATV had crashed about three miles outside town near the confluence of the confluence of the Andreafsky and Yukon Rivers.
