Talk Line: Listen here to April 5 episode

by Shane Iverson on April 5, 2013

An unforgettable episode of “Talk Line” starts-off hot and never cools down. “What would Bethel be if people couldn’t walk home drunk?” wonders Buck Buckowski of Bethel as he railed against a set of proposals aimed at outlawing intoxicated walking on public roads and the illegalization of public defecation in Bethel. “They’re doing it out of necessity,” says Buckowski about those relieving themselves in the open air of Bethel.

The debate over the passage of a major tax cut for oil companies, known as Senate Bill 21, has been fairly quiet on KYUK airwaves, until Dave of Bethel lights into the Governor Sean Parnell. “He’s going to be out of office when the people are suffering,” says Dave. The comments draw a sharp retort from Allen of Bethel who argues the tax cuts could spur more oil development. His demeanor is enough to nearly un-glue Host Zach Fansler.

And how exactly does John Carter of Bethel eat a Hamburger? Find out on this week’s edition of “Talk Line”.
