This week’s edition of “Talk Line” was hosted by the dynamic duo of Joe and Diane. Calls came in steadily throughout the hour, as did changes in the topic of conversation.
Things got off to a quick start as the opening caller brought up his concerns with the plethora of homeless people seen around Bethel. The next caller suggests that this issue could be resolved by making the City of Bethel “dry” again. The very next caller thought the polar opposite; suggesting that Bethel allow the opening of a liquor store.
Other topics covered by callers and hosts included adults looking into furthering their education, upcoming local events, Rural Determination Processes, and the next steps to be taken by Senator Lisa Murkowski following her recent ‘Subsistence Listening Sessions.’
Catch “Talk Line” live on Friday mornings starting at 10AM, and tune into the “Talk Line Re-play” on Friday evenings starting at 7PM, on KYUK 640AM.
