Talk Line: Listen here to the June 21st edition

by Kristin Hall on June 21, 2013

With temperatures reaching record highs it’s no surprise much of of the discussion on this week’s Talk Line had to do with the river. Talk Line hosts Joe Moses and Zach Fansler fielded calls ranging from dangers introduced by the barges on steamboat slough to responsible subsistence fishing practices and everything in between. Bob Carlson of Bethel was able to provide some helpful contact information for the U.S. Coast Guard and the Alaska Department of Natural Resources for all those concerned about the barges, while Ronda Sargent shared some information on the boardwalks here in town as well as Clean Up Green Up.

You can catch Talk Line live every Friday at 10:00 A.M., and don’t forget about the Talk Line Replay every Friday at 7:00 P.M., on your public radio station KYUK 640AM.
