Talk Line: Listen here to the March 1st edition

A wide range of topics were brought up on this week’s Talk Line. Community events like the 26th Annual Coastal Conference 1A Tournament in Bethel and the BRHS Passport Club’s showing of Life of Pi at the Cultural Center were discussed. Also, many encouraging words for local community members including Steven Boney and Gux Laraux for competing in the Iron Dog and local favorites Pete Kaiser, Richie Diehl, Mike Williams Jr., and Mike Williams Sr. as they prepare for the upcoming 2013 Iditarod.

A first time caller from Hooper Bay encouraged young people to get involved with their tribal and city governments. Rick Robb also provided updates on the proposed airport expansion and the recent homeless survey taken here in Bethel.
