Talk Line: Listen here to the program for January 31st

by Rybo on January 31, 2014

This particular edition of Talk Line was dubbed as the greatest show of recent decades by one frequent listener and caller. The show started off with all three of the normal hosts, however, Diane had to bow out early due to an all-to-frequent voice loss and cough. As they say, “the show must go on,” and it certainly did.

Callers this week brought up a wide range of topics including upcoming local events, the unsafe conditions on the river, the want for a Dairy Queen in Bethel, the removal of and banquet for former YKHC head Gene Peltola, recent rate changes from the United States Postal Service, and the show closed with a heartwarming story of a lost dog that returned home after running off during the K300 fireworks.

Catch Talk Line live every Friday morning starting at 10am on 640AM KYUK, or stream it live at KYUK.org.
