Talk-Line returns this Friday at 10am

KYUK’s popular call-in and opinion show “Talk-Line” will be returning to the airwaves this Friday with a new host; Zach Fansler will be taking calls and gathering opinions from all over the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta.

Fansler offered to volunteer after the show was suspended in September for a station review.

We had hoped to bring the show back earlier, but critical staffing changes at the beginning of winter delayed several of our plans. Now we’re excited to re-introduce “Talk-Line” to our patient listening audience, many of whom have been calling KYUK to express their hope that the show would return sooner, rather than later.

When the phone lines open on Friday listeners will notice some slight changes to the show. We will now be asking callers their name and where they are calling from before they go on air. Also, Fansler will be joined in the studio by co-hosts Diane McEachern and Joe Moses.

Despite a few new policies, and several fresh voices, “Talk-Line” will remain a place where the community can gather to share opinions with one another.
