Troopers investigate two burglaries

A 19-year-old Kalskag man is facing felony burglary charges for allegedly breaking into the store in Kalskag. Troopers earlier this month received a report of destroyed food items and damage to the facility and office. On Friday, troopers arrested Jeremy Mike and brought him to the jail in Bethel. He’s facing two class c felonies: one for burglary and another for theft over 500 dollars.

In Holy Cross, troopers are investigating a break-in at the school. They received a report earlier this month that doors were damaged at the school and cash was missing. The investigation is ongoing.
