A Tuluksak man died from injuries sustained in a single-car rollover accident last week in Tuluksak. Alaska State Troopers say the accident occurred around 10 p.m. last Tuesday on the road from Tuluksak to the airport runway.

21-year-old Crimet Alexie was medivaced into Anchorage with massive head injuries, but later died at the Alaska Native Medical Center. There apparently were two passengers inside the vehicle in this rollover incident, and the other passenger sustained minor injuries.

This is the 2nd car accident that has occurred between Tuluksak and it’s airport runway in the last couple of months, which is located 3 miles outside of the village. Alaska State Troopers say the investigation into this incident is on-going.
