Two young Bethel mushers competed in the Jr. Iditarod over the weekend. Joshua Klejka and Caleb Miller of Bethel were both rookies in the 150 mile race. Klejka, who is 16, finished in 8th place and Caleb Miller, who is 15, finished in 10th place.

Noah Pereira, a 16-year-old from New York won the race. He’s been training with Dallas Seavey, the reigning Iditarod champion.
