Two adult men have been reported deceased in the past week, each from apparent suicides. Alaska State Troopers report that 38-year-old Clinton Henry Morgan of Aniak and 22-year-old Gusty Gusty of Stony River killed themselves.
On April 26, troopers responded to an emergency call from an Aniak residence. The caller told Troopers that Morgan had killed himself inside a locked room. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His remains are being transported to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Anchorage.
Troopers say alcohol was not a factor in the case.
On April 28, troopers report that they received a call from a Stony River resident about another apparent suicide.
Investigation revealed that 22-year-old Gusty Gusty was alone in the residence when he took his own life. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A request has been sent to the State Medical Examiner’s office in Anchorage for an autopsy.
