Vision Maker Media 2013 Public Media Content Fund: Projects in any phase of production are eligible to apply. Awards for research and development range from $5,000 to $20,000; awards for production or completion can be up to $100,000; and, new media awards range from $5,000 to $20,000. Vision Maker Media does not fully fund programs, and awardees are required to seek additional funding from other sources. Submitted proposals must be postmarked by March 15, 2013. Read More.
Vision Maker Media invites proposals for programs intended for Public Television that represent the experiences, values, and cultures of American Indians and Alaska Natives.Programs should be accessible to a broad audience, have the potential for a national broadcast, and can be used for effective outreach and engagement activities to reach audiences beyond the Public Television broadcast. Assignment of exclusive broadcast rights for four years and one year off-air recording rights for educators are included in Vision Maker Media´s Production License Agreement. All completed programs are required to meet the PBS Technical Operating Specifications and Production Guidelines as outlined in the PBS Red Book.
