An Emmonak man died last Friday night when his snowmachine careened off the road and crashed into a power pole. Raymond Waska Jr., age 49, was taken to Emmonak’s clinic. CPR was performed, but he did not survive.
Waska was not wearing a helmet, and it is believed that alcohol may have been involved in the accident. His next of kin has been notified of his death.
