KYUK public media is turning to Bethel and the Yukon Kuskokwim Delta villages to raise $35,000 in individual donations during this year's Fall Fundraiser.
Donations fund most services heard on KYUK: like local news in English and in Yup'ik, daily community announcements, weather reports 365 days a year, up-to-date trail reports, and student internship opportunities.
Also individual donations from people like you prove to our largest funders, like the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, that our services are valued by our listening audience. Your donations increase the amount that CPB can give us. And when you add your name to our list of providers, you show policy makers in Alaska that public radio plays a vital role in our lives.
We take great pride in providing you with services that no one else can. We hope you'll look at the entirety of what KYUK does for the region. We can't do that without you. We want to continue to serve you and the people of the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta like we have for 46 years; and we can only do that with your support.
